Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 09 of 2026 dated 01 September 2026 for recruitment to Class-IV (MTS) and Sanitation Worker posts in various departments of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.A total of 2,863 vacancies have been advertised under UT Cadre, Divisional Cadre and District Cadre through General Administration Department, offering a major opportunity for 8th / 10th / 12th pass candidates who are domiciles of J&K.

JKSSB Class IV / MTS Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
Domicile: Candidate must be a domicile of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir and must possess a valid Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority on or before the last date of application (03.11.2026).
Educational Qualification (as on 03.11.2026):
Class-IV (MTS): Minimum Matriculation (10th Pass) and Maximum 10+2 (as per S.O. 184 of 2020 read with SRO 99 of 2008).
Sanitation Worker: Minimum 8th Pass and Maximum 10+2 (as per S.O. 132 of 2022).
Important: Candidates possessing qualification higher than 10+2 are not eligible for these posts.
