Recruitment Overview / भर्ती का संक्षिप्त विवरण Railway Recruitment Boards have issued an indicative notice for CEN No. 07/2026 covering 1,688 tentative NTPC Undergraduate vacancies. यह भर्ती खास तौर पर 12वीं पास candidates के लिए महत्वपूर्ण है। Online applications are scheduled from 15 October to 13 November 2026. The detailed CEN will remain the final authority.

Posts include Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Accounts Clerk cum Typist and Junior Clerk cum Typist. Detailed RRB-wise and post-wise distribution should be taken from the full CEN.
Reservation Details / आरक्षण विवरण UR/EWS/OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen and other applicable reservation will follow Railway recruitment rules. Exact category-wise breakup is to be checked in detailed CEN 07/2026.

Eligibility Details / पात्रता
Age Limit & Relaxation / आयु सीमा एवं छूट Exact age range and cut-off date must be checked in detailed CEN 07/2026. Applicable relaxation is available to eligible reserved-category, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and other candidates according to Railway/Government rules.
Salary / Pay Scale / वेतन Selected candidates will receive 7th CPC remuneration at Level 2 or Level 3 depending on the post, along with admissible Railway allowances. Exact initial pay should be confirmed from detailed CEN.
Appointment / Employment Type / नियुक्ति प्रकार Regular Central Government/Railway recruitment, subject to successful completion of all selection, document-verification and medical requirements.
Application Fee / आवेदन शुल्क Category-wise examination fee, concessions and refund provisions should be confirmed from detailed CEN 07/2026 before payment.
Selection Process / चयन प्रक्रिया The NTPC selection process is expected to include CBT-1, CBT-2, Typing Skill Test for applicable typist posts, Document Verification and Medical Examination. The detailed CEN will define the final scheme.
