Educational Qualification
Candidates must have a good academic record with at least 55% marks or equivalent at Master's Degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent recognised foreign degree. Applicable candidates receive the relaxation in Master's marks prescribed in the advertisement. In addition, the candidate should have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar accredited eligibility test, subject to the notified NET/SLET/SET and Ph.D. exemption provisions.
Desirable Qualification
Knowledge of the customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment in the peculiar conditions prevailing in the State is desirable.
Age Limit
18 to 45 years as on 1 January 2026. Age relaxation is governed by the detailed HPPSC/Himachal Pradesh Government conditions in the advertisement.
Application Fee

Salary / Emoluments

Exam Pattern
