## Job Description (English) ## PAU Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 – Overview Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Ludhiana has issued a fresh recruitment notice for one Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Soil Science. The engagement is linked to a research project titled “Studies on the performance on Nano Urea Plus & Nano DAP on productivity of different cropping system”. Agriculture with at least 60% marks or an equivalent OCPA of 6.00/10. They should also possess an M.Sc. in Soil Science, Chemistry or Botany with at least 65% marks or OCPA 6.50/10. Candidates holding an M.Sc. are required to have qualified NET. A candidate who does not hold the stated Master’s degree but possesses a Ph.D. in the discipline required at Master’s level may be considered eligible as provided in the official notice. ## Desirable Experience PAU has indicated preference for candidates who have prior experience in soil surveys, soil sample collection, analysis of soil samples under field and laboratory conditions and handling routine soil analytical instruments.
